Search anagrams for scrabble and solutions for the crossword.

Néograms is an anagram search application based on ODS6 from 2012. It is also a crossword help application.

It uses words of 2 to 9 or 10 letters from the official Scrabble version 2012 depending on the model of the phone or tablet.

Its primary function allows you to find all the anagrams of a series of letters that may also contain "jokers".

Wild cards are defined by a "?" equivalent in the game of Scrabble to WHITE.

You can also filter the search for anagrams using a mask.

The first text entry region is used to type the letters of the anagram, the second is used to type the filter mask.

For example:

Entering letters: TESTW? (Here the “?” represents a joker)

Mask entry: S?T* (The “?” replaces any letter and the “*” represents a series of any letters).

The “S?T*” mask is equivalent to filtering the words generated in the following way:

The first letter must be an S, “?” the second can be any letter, the third a T, and “*” as many letters as possible.

After pressing “Anagrams” a list of 4 columns will be displayed.

The first column represents the words corresponding to your search, the second the size of the words in letters, the third their value in Scrabble and the fourth the jokers used having replaced the “?”.

Once the list of words is displayed, you can click on “Size” to sort the words by their size or on “Val.” to sort them by their Scrabble value.

The second function allows you to complete the crossword grids.

Simply type in the text input area the letters you already have and replace the blanks with "?", then press "crossword" to display the list of possible words.

Attention! This application does not display proper nouns!!!.

This application has only been tested on SE Xperia Arc and SE Xperia X10, however it should work on most Android phones and tablets.
